he starts the finale off with Adrien locked in an all-white room with just a foosball table, haunted by nightmares that Gabriel gave him, pushing a drug-like "cure" on him using a serving robot. and by the end we're supposed to want Adrien to remember him for when he tried to be a good father

I can't believe I half want an Adrien villain origin story when he finds out the truth, because it's like. this is a classic setup for that. at the very least I want a falling out. and I like them together!
