For those that are out of the Hylics-specific loop, Wayne has just been handed a bottle of Poolwine.

This is made from the leavings of Poolmen/Poolmagne, a singularly fucking annoying enemy in Hylics 2. In battle, they regenerate, duplicate themselves, literally need to be killed with fire and/or Dissolution.

Oh goodness

This stuff, when picked up as Thing, can be used as a massive damage booster, giving you a Mania status effect. Basically, it makes a character berserk for a few turns, then puts them to sleep.

like chugging a jar of Everclear and going to fight god

The thing is, Wayne has distinct trauma involving Poolwine. Wayne Larvae were forcefed a steady diet of Poolwine to turn them into monsters that would chase you down and kamikaze-style explode, dealing massive damage to your crew.

He discovered what was basically his family being forcibly mutated by Gibby's forces, turning them into Warpo.

So, now he has a few glasses worth of Potion Of Fuck You Up
