okay so, about a month ago one (1) female duck started living at the pond by my house, which I had been calling the Gentlemen's Club because it was nothing but dude ducks this year

said duck now has babies, and as I tend to do, I started counting them every time I see them to see if she still has them all

usually they might lose one or two as the year goes on, which is always sad but it happens

...this duck has not only not lost any babies, but has somehow gained two more from when I last saw

did. did she take in orphans from another pond? did she steal them from another nest somewhere? did they just get lost and wander in and she was like "mine now"????
