[RL, Baby] I need ideas for things to buy for Gabriel's birthday. Probably 3+ up toys since he's pretty bright and we watch him a lot working at home. Maybe stuff for outside, he already has a small pool.
Pixle
I should start marking these toddler too haha

I wonder- what's he into? I'd get into what he gravitates toward during play whether it's building, matching things, or imagination-based deals
𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖𝔸𝕝𝕝𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕨𝕒𝕪
Just building off of what he's into while offering some avenues for variety as his personality develops :v
𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖𝔸𝕝𝕝𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕨𝕒𝕪
i know for me I was into pretend a LOT with the tools I had, then i saw jurassic park in theaters like 5 times at my insistence and it was all over, I was a dinosaur kid
𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖𝔸𝕝𝕝𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕨𝕒𝕪
pretending with dinosaur toys and building jungles

He loves drawing and his playdough kit. It's hard to figure out what he likes in particular apart from that...maybe paints might be a good idea if we can set an area outside where he could paint and we can hose him down when hes done haha
PeterTurbo
duplo legos?
𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐢.
for drawing: maybe easel/paints/a smock, sidewalk chalk, or watercolors? duplos are very good for this age too yeah. could also try to find some kind of outdoor playhouse or playset too
𝕁𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖𝔸𝕝𝕝𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕨𝕒𝕪
OOH SIDEWALK CHALK that's the shit

Pixle
Duplos are also great, I am actually waitinf for a sale they usually have some sometimes
Pixle
He does have some dollarama legos and plays with them from time to time so he has those for now
Pixle

playdough and "moon sand" stuff, bubble-blowing stuff, dancing-ribbons (you know, those long ones on bitty sticks?) bath-crayons (colored soap "crayons" to draw on the tub/himself with), tot-sized hula hoops, foam balls and make a tic-tac-toe board with holes to toss them in/some kind of thing like the bowling games at arcades? (foam project boards work!)
'Sail
etch-a-sketches and those boards that're black until you press, and then it reveals the colors behind it?
'Sail
or the kind that look like milky little honeycombs in the screen, and uses a magnet-stylus to display the gray pigment-things inside the cells, where you can clear it by sliding the magnet thing behind it....
'Sail
(that's a terrible description of it, sorry)
'Sail
a tiny Bop-It, if you're okay with the noises?
