also when they meet you in Elpis, they say your aether is similar, which is why they assume your Azem's familiar, not that YOU look familiar.

When I say "Azem should look like the person playing the game" I mean the real life human playing the game, not the Warrior of Light. i.e. my character's Azem looks like me. that's the basis of the joke.
