a project that's been going on for a while is 🌸💮 But It's The Springtime of My Youth?! I Want To Have My First Kiss Before The Moon Explodes!! It's a silly and loving dating sim pastiche of 80s/early 90s shoujo manga for younger girls. The world might be ending by the end of the school year, but the MC has more important things on her mind -

like achieving her dream of confessing the Truest of Loves beneath the cherry blossoms. There's eldritch abominations and the yakuza and escaped government experiments and childhood friendships and a lesbian with a nail bat and a grudge.

And I've been having fun writing things out in bits and pieces, drawing silly comic thumbnails, listening to Japanese 80's city pop for inspiration, but the idea of showing anyone and receiving feedback is . What if it's all stupid and dumb and bad?

Thank you for the kind words and interest. The overall story is about finding the courage to pursue happiness even as the world figuratively and literally burns. I've projected a lot of my own insecurities and anxieties on the characters and it's been therapeutic to dissect them.

There's (hopefully) some meat beneath all of that fluff.
