Third column, three top spaces are 48, 89 and 49. Three numbers only, three spaces. You can eliminate 4. 8 and 9 from the other two, which will have 3 and 6 only.
Ah! There. Fifth column, second and fifth rows have 49 only. Meaning there can't be a 9 in the third row of the same column; thus is must be 8. That will resolve a lot (of not all) of the whole board.
My own rule fur playing is "Don't guess".
I knew about that rogue 9 that was sleeping in column 6 - but didn't get around to moving it out.
