This reminds me of Ilde just throwing a fireball into a room full of goblins or whatever it was

it was goblins

flashbacks to accidentally killing a player via inflict wounds... and I mean DEAD dead.

But I love using it when I'm a player :')

I nearly killed the fighter with two crits

I can never seem to get that one to pop off for some reason

it's my one big spell at level 2 and i've critted with it every time i've cast it

The cleric in the group I DM just obliterated a bandit with it a couple sessions ago when they crit. lol

For a 1st level spell it can really hit like a truck. I guess the tradeoff is being a cleric in melee range but if someone is coming after the healer anyway, then you don't have much to lose.

Also: Divine Soul sorcerer with Distant Spell. 👀💦
