I had thought of adding another flower into the mix but I am resistant to using jasmine because most of the other Essek blends I have created use it.

Also because of the sandalwood, the Essek blend is warmer than the others which I really like the distinction of, I feel like the warmth is symbolically a homage to how Caleb changes him.

also the strength of the lavender symbolizes the domme energy I give to Essek, I tend to rely a healthy amount on forthright for him

like he is soft but only for Caleb, there is too much built up within him throughout the years for him to change too much from his inherent core and I love to explore those themes when RPing him

You should use whatever smells right for him

and yeah, i love exploring themes like that, its super worth it

oh the blend smells right so far with him and I enjoy creative challenges, also it helps me to draw out meaning based on scenes I have RPed with him, using those little snippets

so update-- wove some amber in because I am a sucker for amber and it is starting to take on a spice that is definitely Zauberdecke

dark and somewhat sensual, the sandlewood and amber adds that sensuality

i love that, it sounds amazing
