I'll need to nip down to ma's for a moment and of course, OF COURSE I always take a minute to properly greet Misha. She'll yowl out her own greeting and flop herself across my lap and start purring like this is the first time in years that we've seen each other.

Often I'll need to walk back down to ma's house for something else in the same day... and Misha has forgotten entirely that we've just seen each other. Repeat indefinitely.

She used to be such an anxious little creature, but she's so, so happy these days. Everything is a delight. Ma leaves the television running on HGTV for her to enjoy and there is always a sunbeam available to snooze inside.
