love when significant others surprise and buy books for themselves so it isn't always us, hahah.

we started watching silo last night and he got really interested, so when he found the books he was picking them up and putting them back until i said the magic words "it's okay, i have a gift card"

still he tried to put them back after i squeed at finding ted chiang's anthologies

i adamantly made him get it because it's so rare for him to want to buy anything! (he'll say the same about me so lmao)
