Good morning! I woke up at 5:30am to see the coronation. I love a parade.

Quite something. Seemed to me to be both amazing and unsettling.

Good afternoon! The BBC radio was talking about James Bond at the coronation. Then I fell asleep.

: The most senior royals are heavily into service. Few commoners could keep up with the schedule the Queen kept. A lot of the finery is historical and is preserved by the Firm.

Charles has a long history of involvement in the environment, preserving nature. He also has promoted the preservation of historic buildings and I believe rare breeds of livestock.

Queen Victoria did a lot to keep certain trades alive. She would wear her underwear once and then give them away. She gave her umbrellas away often. It sounds strange today, but at the time doing these things was in service of her people.
