[DW] I couldn’t sleep well last night so I ended up reading all of Interesting Times

Just as a story it’s one of the better Rincewind books, and it’s very exciting pretty much from start to finish

So it’s a damn shame it’s also pretty fucking racist

This is also I think the turning point where i flip from “haha Rincewind can’t catch a break” to “man Rincewind can’t catch a BREAK”

A man can only comedically suffer for so long before you start to really feel bad for him

Like late series Ichigo in bleach

The guy just wants all these super powered assholes to leave him ALONE

I think there’s one more Rincewind book

So I know he does eventually get to retire peacefully to the university

yeah the fucked up thing is it's the first Rincewind book with more story to it than one long meandering joke about pulp fantasy
