Found a cat that had slipped out of his house while on my walk today

he called me down from the side walk and led me to his own front door

I rang the bell but no one was home

a man with dogs walked into a nearby house and I asked him if he knew the cat

he said that it might belong to the person in that house, and miraculously had her phone number
VIRGIN-SENPAI
we called and she drove home to take him back inside lol

about as smooth as you can expect from finding a cat with no collar outside

he was a charming gentleman, if obviously a million years old

and yeah, we also had a cat before the one we have now that was a serial absconder

Bliss however is a princess and does not like to go outside (unless it is to sun herself on our 2nd story balcony)

well, the truth of it is probably that she was born in a dumpster somewhere and had her fill of the great outdoors then

lol that's seriously what happened. I noticed him and said "hey buddy!" and he then began to talk VERY LOUDLY, rub all around my legs and then beeline for the front door

one of my parents cats made it out the front door once, she just kind of hopped up on the porch railing like "...well now what"

Bliss will watch out the front door, stuff like that, but when you make to open said door, she runs away. She doesn't even want to go out there on ACCIDENT

Our cat spent months outside after she got out because every time we tried to bring her back in she'd hide under the sheds until she finally stayed out long enough for me to grab her.
