[Shuri Plays MMBN] Having never played any of the original games, I had some gold My Nintendo points expiring so I bought the Legacy Collection and will play through them in order

I did play the first Mega Man Star Force and the battle system is similar, I think

I love how the menu has a fully-voiced MegaMan.EXE who talks to you

the battle system is kind of similar to Star Force, but imo in a way that tends to be easier to go from BN to SF than from SF to BN

the first BN also has some New IP Weirdness where they were experimenting with things that are probably better off not going any further in the rest of the series //GLARES AT WEIRD PLOT GATES BASED ON CHIP LIBRARY AND OTHER NONSENSE

I love the whole series dearly tho so I hope you have a blast with my two precious sons and their family & friends

The Legacy Collection has an "easy mode" where your Buster does a lot more damage

I try not to rely on it too much but it does make some of the pesky viruses easier to take down

Not too far- I just beat NumberMan

oh you're heading into my favorite section of the game

like, in terms of an overarching chunk of gameplay, the next 'dungeon' is a lil iffy in spots

not the worst one though

but yeah, the buster's there for getting you out of a jam so don't be afraid to break it out
