[9 to 5] Tonight was Round One of choreography for the opening number. Usually I dread learning dance numbers. There was a lot to unpack for only 3 1/2 minutes of music. And yet...

Not only was that fun, but Grace the choreographer said we all looked pretty good (and yes, the set "we" included me).

What is this sense of... confidence? In times past I would wait for the other shoe to drop. Now I'm grabbing that shoe and putting it on. Because it's a character shoe - look it up if you don't know what that means - and I need it for the STAGE.

What do ya know, turns out that not being afraid of messing up is a hell of a good thing. So bring on Wednesday! Let's do it all again!
