i wonder if shizuka is a real person~ she doesn't seem to be interacting with anyone so far aside from kokona.

If it's telling anything, World Dai Star is written by Takahiro (of Akame ga Kill! and Chained Soldier fame) and character designs by Mika Pikazo.

Takahiro is known to have made dark stories like Akame ga Kill and Yuuki Yuuna series or something that averts expectations (Samurai Flamenco).

Assuming Shizuka is a "dead girl" who accompanies Kokona as a spirit, this idea isn't exactly new (Idoly Pride anyone) but still kind of messed up.

Kokona's "acting" is probably isn't "genuine " as she does a "perfect copy" of someone else's acting.

-ah, i see. i have this nudging feeling that this is going to be just on the same level as idoly pride though. hopefully. please.
-yeah, it looks like she more or less copied shizuka's acting.that or it was shizuka who did the acting all along. phantom-of-the-idol-ish possession. xD
