So does anyone have an issue where they open up the Steam app on their computer, and there's the top row of STORE, LIBRARY etc................ but everything below that is just blank?

and, like, I can still play games and be connected to Steam and get achievements etc, but, uh. makes it tricky if i wanted to, say, download a new game

i imagine that's like. the steam browser doesn't load the web page which has that info.

thats happens sometimes. tends to resolve itself

I think it may be their banner ads for games fucking up in some way

Hence why it only affects the store

That's purely a guess from observation, though

However, there's a potential workaround

Try going to the store page of a game you already own, or some piece of DLC for one

If you can view that, you'll get the search bar in the upper right of it and can search that way

You can do that through your library

A very indirect way of getting to the store search bar, but when Steam is fucking up...shrugs

yeah it might be a corrupt config file or something. this happens with discord sometimes.
