and then, funny joke, I will only see half of a pay increase because I only get a half paycheck for that month.

I am on a nine month contract but I have them pay it out over 12 months by having them hold back a portion of my paychecks. it's just a way to always have money coming in it's the same amount of money no matter what I do.

technically I am only employed from August 15th through May 15th.

so half of my paycheck in September will be last years money and half will be the current academic Year's money for 2 weeks.

I'm also employed this summer from May 15th through June 30th for Summer I session, though. But this year they get to pay me on the old scale.

I got to sit down and listen to the university president that the university is going to be spending 30 million on a new football building. and that Athletics is going to pay for it themselves. but also, 30 million.

and also, we have changed conferences three times in the last 5 years and every time we do that we have to pay money to do that. and this time it cost us 2.4 million dollars.
