[precure] I did a Tumblr poll on favourite fake leak and Beat/Symphony is winning by a lot

I thought Cure Sandwich had it in the bag.

what's beat and symphony?

merry witchmas : A fake leak disseminated when Suite began, for what were supposedly its two mid-season Cures.

This fooled a lot of people because it looked very similar to the real leak the previous year that had spoiled that Itsuki was a girl and Cure Sunshine and that Cure Moonlight was still alive.

oh symphony has a cute design :0

We got a Beat but everyone really wanted that one!

(Nothing bad towards Ellen, but that Beat was much more striking)

it also didn't help that there were two characters in the supporting cast who could have been these two by like. sheer coincidence. so it became even more believable

(specifically with beat, the girl people thought would be symphony was a bit of a stretch)

the artist who did this resized the original art so much that the civ names weren't readable so it was hard to debunk

there was also a rumor after the fact that this artist was a staff member at toei who was tired of the leaks and purposely did this to screw with people which also added to the notoriety of the whole thing (afaik though that was just stuff people made up??? p. sure this was just a fan)

i have not been in the fandom long enough to actually know any of these, but i had to vote for cure sandwich, the burger cure just for the absurdity
