I've made it to October for Persona 3! I think I'm making good progress - I have a bunch of social links that are either maxed out or at level 9 out of 10.

I messed up a bit on the guide that I'm following, but it's with a social link for an NPC, so it's not a big deal. (The NPC social links don't provide tangible benefits like they do in Persona 5, outside of experience boosts for fused Personas)

I was told that October is an emotional roller coaster, and it's already starting off with Ken confronting Shinjiro about the death of Ken's mother, which Shinjiro accidentally caused.

And it turns out that Ken is suicidal.

And now Shinjiro's comatose. (They said that he won't be able to breathe on his own or regain consciousness, but they never said that he's dead) Not sure if that's because I completed his social link and he would have normally died there.

Surprised that Akihiko's Persona evolved on its own, rather than when his social link reached level 10.

Characters are saying it's the final battle, but between my experiences with other Persona games and the in-game calendar, it's definitely a fake-out.
