miss kitty's lung collapsed.

they're taking her to get the gas in her chest out now and hopefully that will let her lung reinflate.

oh no

the emergency vet missed this last night too. it was a spontaneous lung collapse so nobody was looking for it

usually it takes trauma for this to happen and it just happened on its own

taking her back up to indy. vet says we should begin discussing what we want to do.for her quality of life since this is probably something genetic

she's going to radiology now. her xrays that said her heart was shifted were tilted. her heart hasn't moved. HOWEVER her lung is still collapsed. there doesn't seem to be any air in there

they don't know what caused her lung to collapse and are trying to figure it out so they can try to fix it

miss kitty's lung reinflated!!! they couldn't find anything wrong with her STILL so the consensus at the moment is 'it probably was due to her asthma????'

the vet says she hasn't been belly breathing at all and she's been purring and rolling around
