It's nice to have quasi-relatives - the Q-brother-in-law and niece came over to my house, mapped all my electrical circuits to devices/outlets/switches, and absolutely tore through all my boxes and associated recycling to make it easier to put out.

Niece also wiped out the last cabinet area I hadn't got to, so I got to put away the amazing pan set Myfi got me, and some Pyrex storage.

Oh, I also wanted to share this:

Look, the curtains aren't even mounted properly on a bracket - although the decorative valance-y thing that was sitting above it on a totally wrecked, sagging, and underlength adjustable rod I can repurpose to the foyer, because that south-facing window lets in a LOT of heat.
