I thought i was going to do some 'real' tags today instead of just TFLN, but my brain is goop the same as the inside of my face

I might finally be running a fever (my ears/under my tongue is warm, but nothing else is, and we haven't had a working thermometer in a year now, never been in stock anywhere)

and I keep surprising myself when I remember that it's only Friday not Saturday, so my sense of time is even worse than usual

lol and getting up to pee + brush my teeth has resulted in the shivers, so I'm going to take another round of DIY daiye/nieniequil and just go to bed even though it's not even 10pm yet

and then I didn't do the actual sleeps, though the shivers died down, I'm actually for real going to lay down now though

considering it's 12:30 and I have only been up twice to pee and take a Tylenol, apparently not

and I am in fact about to lie down again

I'm vaguely upright now, in that I'm in a chair and not an overheated blob horizontal on the bed, but I may have used my entire energy reserve to do it

had to tho, bc headache and sinus pressure require medicating and I was out of warter

dangit cousin's in the shower, so it'll be at least a couple hours before there's enough hot water for me to go

and by then housemate will be back and probably taking his shower, plus it'll be near dark and I dislike showering after dark

I wish I had somebody to make me macaroni

I have it' it's boxed, but it's one of those 'the energy spent making it would outweigh the energy gained by consuming it' things

i am the laziest person when it comes to food prep even when i feel fine, so. i get it. i wish i could make it for you..

and had to rain check on dad tomorrow, because even if I burn through the worst of it overnight (which I'm hopeful for) I'll still be a useless lump and not want to go anywhere

but I also know he'd rather have me be healthy than be visiting, so

well in 24 hours I've gone from 'lol I guess maybe that is a fever' to 'oh and now we're in the dry-throat/empty-chest coughing, that's great

so at least it's progressing pretty quick, just have to pay attention to my breathing and def. hie myself to the urgent care if it gets bad

(I had bronchitis that turned into pneumonia a few years back that I was almost hospitalized for, and doc was VERY CLEAR that it has a tendency to relapse at the slightest provocation)

which is honestly why I'm surprised I got through the Curse of La Llorona without it flaring up

yeah now I'm at the 'everything is coughing even though there's nothing to cough up' phase, which means I'll be reasonably okay tomorrow, which also means I can text dad and be all 'yo you doing anything on Tuesday or you wanna have fat Tuesday pancakes and Pączki?'

even though y'know it's already past Pączki day (it was Thursday)

and when you go from totally swollen/blocked sinus to 'wow now I can breathe so clearly it's cold enough to be painful'

(but only ever on one side at a time)
