considering one of the early facts of the show was justin literally drinking in the booth while ad-libbing, it's entirely possible that he was a bother to everyone
i love that people were like "but how will we replace him!!!" as if 1 out of every 10 people innthe US doesnt have a mostly accurate rick and or morty impression on hand as a party trick
you know how jimmy pesto's va got revealed as being a shitface and you just KNOW he definitely didn't get that jimmy was the bad guy/someone you should look down on
roiland doesn't seem to get that half of the reason why R&M is good is becauase of/when rick's shit choices are called out and the family wins instead of him
but that exact sentiment from Harmon is exactly why Rick only seems to win when he goes against his selfishness, and why every other time no matter how stupid it is or how "meaningless" it is, the others win
I think the biggest memory i have of that circumstance is Morty going on about how sure what the fuck ever life is meaningless in the end but it means something now and i'm going to go hang out with my family because that means soemthing to me and then the episode closes witht he family like taking care of each other while rick is a loser in the garage
i mean sort of in the fact that it's a part of the storytelling. but there's a lot of people who will argue that if something isn't said outright in full clarity, i.e. no one says "Rick, you're the villlain of this" then it's not canon, it's just interpretation
so apparently roiland was so easily let go and replaced because he just. did fuck all
and then the episode closes witht he family like taking care of each other while rick is a loser in the garage
