I’m in Seattle at Harborview-my husband had a stroke on Saturday, and got airlifted from Wenatchee since we were at the cabin. He is doing well - great improvement, but neurology is calling the shots right now.
Thanks,

: - he’s been moved out of the icu, where he was probably the only patient who was conscious, and was able to stand AND use the bathroom!
mimi, he is doing very well. He’s on the acute care floor, and one of his nurses told him after my son and I left that he will probably get released tomorrow. Neuro decision, not a nurse decision. I’m a little concerned; will he have another stroke? Can he handle our stairs? I just don’t know. I’m tired and I’m worried
Thank you,
Ddaisy

: first, thank you for your kind words of support. He will be released on Wednesday, and we may stick around for a couple of days before we head home. His stroke was caused by stray plaque. He’s doing very well. I may need to override a few of his future adventure decisions.

: we had that talk today. I told him my 3 Nag Rule was going to be suspended and I will not be ignored or dismissed with my concerns! Live with it, Mr F!!
Yes, he is going to have to remember he is not 25 anymore, and there are some limits on what the body can do.
