Characters are given powers based on one of the four seasons and are tasked with restoring the balance in the world. To survive in this world characters need to touch one another at least once a week (ideally once a day).
I am reluctant to make promises, since last game I was going to app I got hyperfocused on something and slept through the app deadline, wow, but I like what I see and I do have some homeless femblems and kisekis I miss playing
Yeah, apps are always open once they open. Just TDM gets posted bi-monthly for those who wanna come in together with lots of people instead of at a random time.
Junpei Iori (p3 femc route post game) Ryotaro Dojima ( p4 golden post game pre epilogue scenes) Napoleon (fgo, post lost belt 2 chaldea version) Prof Turo ...ish (Pokemon Violet extremely close to end game but noooot quite.)
makes lloyd tempting out of the kisekis i'm debating, so if he keeps being a detective he can have a young detective around who ISN'T secretly a total shitlord
mikazuki augus... because he needs to learn not everyone outside of his pack is Untrustworthy and also grubby manimal paws to hold hands with and get head pats from
sorry if this is in the info pages and I missed it, I'm still waking up- if the characters are told they can go home once the state of the world improves, how does the state of the world improve? will there be events/directives for the characters to help with, or is it just a matter of accumulating more powerholders, and the characters just vibe?
a girl in love
: good question! There will be plot elements in the game that will further the improvements on the world, relating to investigating the Segments. Characters exploring the Segments and defeating monsters outside events also gradually helps. There's just quite a lot to fix.
every now and then there's a plan to make an update on how well it has been going with the improvements and such so characters can expect a bit on how it's going
I have not stopped wanting to do Something with Alisaie, I never really got her settled long-term enough to really dig into what I feel she's capable of.
one of my favourite thing aside thinking what season fits which characters is thinking what flower they get as a lucky charm and as their respawn flower
OR. Shionne from Tales of Arise, because putting the girl who causes searing pain to anyone who touches her in a touch based game ALSO sounds hilarious.
Side note: I appreciate that "partial transformation" in the turn into animals section essentially writes a blank check for a fair number of monster forms.

𝔂𝓾𝓶𝓲
: aw thank you both! yeah i've been wanting to toss Dojima at a game again for a while... he's so fun to just deadpan at magic shenanigans.
skeleton horse
: i'm pretty sure mukuro would ping lloyd in exactly the same way as a sometimes enemy/sometimes ally crime boss from his canon and it would absolutely drive him nuts
haunted nipples
: Sylvain's also on my maybe list, but he's not my first priority so FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS and troll the shit out of my other dude if you do
I've been brainstorming Shionne's curse a bit more, and what I've settled on (potentially) for the TDM is that her curse functions as normal in most regions, but it gets shut off when she's in her designated season. Seasonal blessing overrides the thorns, basically.
being in your designed season doesn't really power up characters seasons. sure it may feel more comfortable but not exactly a your super strong in winter if you have winter powers style.
I should probably back up and explain exactly how Shionne's curse works: ANY direct contact with her triggers her thorns, and her thorns in turn painfully incapacitate 98% of the people who touch her.
Well, in a panfandom setting like this one it's certainly possible to have more than two people who are capable of sustaining her touch. Otherwise it's definitely better to think of ways to make it happen less often since touch is and important mechanic.
If nothing else, like 90% of characters in dwrp are 'I will endure pain to protect people' types so you could probably get some initial strong 'enduring this rough situation together' CR out of it with the self-sacrificing types while finding an IC solution
yep, got that info post over here and could modify it into an opt out post pretty easily. The thing about her is that she doesn't go around touching people and activating her curse, and hates having it happen.
Because on the one hand yes, throwing this girl into a touch based game and having her needing to work through her issues and find work arounds sounds fun. Buuuuut on the flip side, need to come to an agreement with everybody on that.
Opt-ins are important for an issue like that! There's also self-nerfing where you could make it so people aren't incapacitated on being hurt by the thorns. (Or if you want to keep that, then it only happens in high stress and with their opt-in) Again, since touch is an important mechanic for the game, we'd want you to have options!
No biggie; I try to slam down a "HEY, THIS IS HOW SHE WORKS, and she is NOT going to touch without permission" disclaimer whenever I do a top. Given some lore spoilers I could potentially tie it in to her emotional state and declare "dimensional shenanigans, it works differently now! And incidentally works really well at this spot because it relaxes her."
For the record I figured I better make this clear: I really really like this notion of making it an emotional state thing. I could do some really rad stuff with that. Okay, and I'm good; turning this over to other folks now.
Since this has been asked a few times outside this plurk: We will have an entry for people who are not friends of the mods where they can inform us who they are before hitting up the TDM! All you need to do is inform us who sent you. This way we know a bit who all there are and you can invite your friends to tag the TDM right from the start.

outside events also gradually helps. There's just quite a lot to fix.
Akihiko from P3 to round out the Persona herd, and because assigning the boy with an ice weakness to winter would be hilarious.
on one hand, thank god someone I recognize.
On the other hand. YU. IS THIS SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOU.
and troll the shit out of my other dude if you donot as in heteromanalso saw someone is thinking about a knb have some encouragement from a rando just bc i want to see knbs around again
