I never know whether to hope canons leave my favorite emotional support idiots in the background or have something happen to them; in this case it appears that the latter has occurred
(that's the problem with incomplete canons. I used to read the last few pages of books first to know who would still be alive in the end. can't do that here.)
I went and did something else for a while till the NOOO spike died down, but I'm both compulsively curious and very conscious of the good old hovering dread. With no available canon update timeline, idk whether it's better to rip off the bandaid right now or wait till canon ends and get it all at once.

what you have heard is ACCURATE and said blorbo is (AS USUAL) SQUARELY in the "supportive-but-secondary enough to very effectively die for other peoples' character development" zone so the odds are even and that's not acceptable!!!1!
Did a quick google and yeah, the happening is not yet resolved, which means it's finale fodder and there's no release date for the finale yet. /BIG GUSTY SIGH
...also people keep using this particular spoiler for their youtube thumbnails that I didn't even ask to see, and can they please not keep reminding me my emotional support nerd is in a situation
anyway, have been slowly trawling through the show on react channels (because I can do that even with low energy) and she's having feelings about her smol disaster family and my HEART
aforementioned emotional-support cinnamon roll has not appeared yet but that will probably happen soon and all the emotions have reported ready for immediate deployment when that happens
and am also in awe of how seamlessly the writers compressed at least two seasons of character development and plot beats into s2 when told they couldn't have a full s3
it's one of the best bodyswap plots I've ever seen? just having the characters swap on purpose to learn about each other instead of the plot punishing them for low-empathy moments is head and shoulders above most shows
