[life update] okay now that i'm actually going to remain sitting down

so: we are no longer hurrying to be out of the house by the 31st

(for those who missed prior context, i live with my fiancé's family who were served a foreclosure notice on NYE, with the house having already been sold on the 21st)

(told we had to be out by jan 31)

the reason we are no longer hurrying is because shit started to look hinky, and now the family lawyer is reviewing everything

so at the very least there is room to breathe until we know more conclusively what is and isnt truly hinky

so this + the major investor coming through for the store means i'm allowed to have thoughts that arent like

gestures

its the first time all month i havent had this train of thought running in the background about all the stressful shit

and even longer in regards to the store

my brain is going to be so much sludge

that is what lawyers are for thankfully

and they've worked with this guy For Years so its someone they trust which is always a plus

May he get results!
