more than plans i'm better at thinking about motivations how did you get here, idiot? WELL LOL. even his ending up here is complicated to deal with because waking up to a whole second life when you expected eternity in the nothing is a lot
his working theory at the moment is that something very bad happened in the new city because it sure does seem like a lot of forbidden blood happened there
he's used to being a big fucking deal. he's the guy where if you mention lord asriel everyone knows who you're talking about. the magisterium hated and feared him and the witches and angels and everyone else he talked into following him don't necessary like him but they know the value of the mission
i also have had some vague ideas about him doing specific research into materials. bloodborne has a particular metal that makes it extra effective when used on other hunters, so it makes me wonder what, if any, effect it would have if he managed to recreate the same or similar alloy he used in canon
also he will be working to master his darkblood abilities because i mentioned it a while back but it would be super fun for him to build another intention craft because darkblood is reality bendy but building a corruption level penalty into it so it isn't OP
that's going to be unavoidable given the work involved and especially since he has 0 personal relationships and is entirely too guarded about things to ever be too obvious
i especially like the ones that are like clearly industrial spaces converted into living areas lots of exposed brick and wood and artistically naked bulbs
i need to get on top of my older tags but i'm not being tooo hard on myself on account of taking on a lot this month lmao what with also starting a new job at the same time
he's also gonna do the deep dive on riteoir business first partly because he perceives riteoir as a threat partly because he wants to understand how his effigies work
lmao it's funny that he has basically ignored all the shedding ceremony stuff so if people start showing up who were AU'd before it's gonna be like ??? whomst
I WOULD LOVE FOR JOHN TO MAKE HIM WORSE... in fact I will do a plurk soon recapping his deer arc and spitballing abt where he'll go next, I think they could influence each other in very neat ways
ʙᴏɴᴇs
: from what you talked about in other plurks with john and rewatching scenes endlessly lmao it has me thinking a lot about where asriel would have gone if things had worked out differently
okay I haven't touched this doc since, checks notes, april 2022, but you can still have a look at it now before I start revamping it... john is much less secretive these days, his bonkers necromantic wards have already melted a couple hands
ooo nice nice... for a minute john was researching interactions between canon magics, then he kind of veered off into fighting pthumerians and burned all his bridges
lmao so the tag i'm writing made me think about how YES asriel did the right thing in canon and all but he sure does have a lot of time on his hands to be fucking salty about it lol
circles back around to the idea of it was his idea to fight god in the first place or was it how much of his life was directed by destiny in order to get to that point
how did you get here, idiot? WELL LOL.
even his ending up here is complicated to deal with because waking up to a whole second life when you expected eternity in the nothing is a lot
lol YEAH
the way he did alarbus in the show was an extremely petty move because he got a little jelly change my mindit's somewhere in gaze but i've been looking on google for things
lots of exposed brick and wood and artistically naked bulbs
i keep coming back to something like this lmao
what with also starting a new job at the same time
partly because he perceives riteoir as a threat
partly because he wants to understand how his effigies work
that should yield some data rightit's a short and slippery slope between "i wanna know how this particle works" to "enemy confirmed"
it was his idea to fight god in the first place
or was it
how much of his life was directed by destiny in order to get to that point
