then the pirate castle activated

the game spawned one new allied character, an archer, within swinging distance of 300 new pirates

80 turns away from the rest of my army

while also introducing another two guys a subpar wizard and a healer, also surrounded by pirates

then I started warping my guys to the nearest castle and Ayra got hit like eight times in a row at 31% hit odds and died

There's something to be said about how turnback mechanics strip something away from the intensity of FE maps

but every turn is 40 minutes long becase the maps are 200x300 tiles and you have 24 guys and are fighting 85 enemies
