What is the oldest anime you remember with a title that felt a tad long for a title? The oldest that I can remember is Harukanaru Toki no Naka de, the English version made it sound shorter: Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time. I was young and didn't know much back then, and actually would be challenged by the usual title length nowadays.
I honestly never felt old about this, but seeing younger generation of anime fans, saying Harukanaru Toki no Naka de makes me look proper old. Finally not seen as 100+ old vampire!
For context, I read a discussion about anime with super long titles like "I died and reincarnated as a random thing in alternate universe and now my life is definitely different from when I was living in the previous world, also will I be able to hit on girls who somehow flocked to me in this world?"
then someone said that they remembered the time the longest anime title was "Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon" while I remember the first longest title I knew back then was Harukanaru Toki no Naka de.
It's not that anyone was unhappy with the current isekai trend, but it must have been a tricky work for people in charge of adding the series into platform that might have character limits

: Oh, Kyou Kara Maoh! Isekai klasik. Aku jadi inget, zaman SMP dulu perasaan semacam Tennis no Oujisama/Prince of Tennis aja dirasa terlalu panjang. Pakabar zaman sekarang
