[cw: discussing pet death] we have decided to put my oldest cat, Mr Tumnus, to sleep tomorrow

We could maybe prolong his life a couple more months, but he’d just be suffering

He is 17, he’s had a good long life, but

It still makes me so fucking sad

I keep crying

I called out of work tomorrow

For now we’re keeping Tumnus as warm and comfy as we can in his favorite bed and fuzzy blanket

Tanarian : honestly it took me by surprise. Besides the general problems he’d had for years, he seemed fine last weekend. But this week his health has declined rapidly.

That's not too different from what happened with Annie, too, really. It's rough.
