[fitness] Saying it here for accountability, but I’m going to the gym after the coffee shop and AT LEAST doing some back squats

It’s very cold out right now and my lizard brain wants to go home and get very warm and cozy

Which i absolutely can do afterwards

But I also know that i will feel better and more focused if I go to the gym, and if all I get done is squatting that is A-OK

I have a lot of writing to do tonite and those endorphins will go a long way

And i can have a nice hot shower after and get very cozy

I'm definitely struggling in the winter to adapt to the new gym/new weather combo

which is annoying, I had A SUCH a good routine before my old gym closed. this new gym is BETTER in almost all ways but it's very different, in ways that are making it tricky to just dive back in. I've had to change my workouts to accommodate the different equipment

I worked so hard to winter-proof my ADHD brain all fall and it all got thrown out the window

BUT IM GONNA DO IT. IT WILL CLICK. These things take a couple weeks minimum to really normalise

touching 150 deadlift for a second today....200+ lift goal in 2023 here I come
