But the objective best starters are: -Popplio. Primarina is great, Popplio is cute, nothing here I don't love. -Rowlet. From borb to extremely huggable bird archer friend, I just love the concept.
-Fennekin. The intersection of fire and psychic, my two favorite types, with foxes, my favorite animal. Bonus points for witchy vibes. This is perfection.
