Movie: Roujin Z. aka the creator of Akira makes a comedic parody of the genre.

Been meaning to watch this one for a while. Some warnings for flashing lights near the beginning and one or two moments of sexual harassment based humor.

I enjoyed it for the animation, they manage to pull off a lot of small physical gags even with the rougher and more limited style. It's a very direct parody of 1980s corporate Japan, and it was amusing to see a lot of the "evolving living machine" tropes from Akira used for looney-tunes style chase scenes.

English dub, I haven't watched this version yet so can't vouch for quality.
