So, we got a stand mixer for Christmas from my mom, and I now have to figure out the first thing I'm making with it. Also, need to figure out if I can get glass bowls for it.

Anke : Oooo - those sound delightful. I've done lots with my hand mixer, but I've wanted a stand mixer for a very long time. She even got the right colour and some storage jars to match and some microfiber dishtowels [I needed those]. And a hat for the spouse because well, I think she's still not entirely convinced he wanted this stuff too.

And this thing, we opened it; apparently we can get attachments that will make it an almost everything prep machine; meat grinder, pasta attachments, spiralizer, shredder, juicer, and looks like can even make my own flours. Don't -have- those yet, and my first addition is going to be a glass bowl, but....
