it's. like. absolutely WILD how rping characters in Situations(tm) can give me more anxiety than being in those situations myself

prime example is that while I'm pretty casual about it now, I used to be MASSIVELY nervous about "ohhh what if they think I'm making the character all about ME" whenever I wrote a character as a trans woman or had narratives that explicitly dealt with transness

but like. unless it would potentially put me in actual danger I'm really, really open about being trans myself

and while I was SUPER NERVOUS about telling plurk about Apollo at first I got over it really quickly

meanwhile

in srwq I've had the foregones established for like over a month at this point

and until now I've pretty much ONLY played isidor out of the two of them because I've just been absolutely deadly terrified over RPing a system for no good reason
