UPDATE DAY HAS IMPROVED ENORMOUSLY someone sent a huge fruit-based gift basket to my boss and he INSISTED that me and the maintenance guy got first crack so I am now high off of a fresh sweet apple

and I got a red d'anjou and a little teeny seckel pear

excited to eat them (I like pears) tomorrow (they are not yet ripe)
