SHS & College ay hindi pwede play safe. Malaking epekto kung saan ka malalagay sa corporate ladder lalo na at karamihan sa atin ay doon ang bagsak. Dapat push nila ang kanilang full potential.

Kailangan isipin din nila kung ok sa kanila yung maging work for the next 40years of their lives after college.

as a former GC we tackled this in career counseling/coaching. don't take a side. present both sides. latag ang pros & cons/advantage/disadvantage ng bawat isa. general lang. sila ang magde-decide sa bawat aspect. pero be warned, even this can turn into full heavy drama lalo yun aspect na di supportive ang parents sa career choice.

ⒼⓁⒾⓉⒸⒽ⁰⁸ : yish. yung mga nasa traditional professions (lawyer, doctor) lalo, tapos ang anak gusto sa arts, fashion, performing arts or yung mga newer careers like vlogging (or something similar). minsan wala suko na lang sundin si parent, tapos pag grad at working na, aral ka ulit or ipon to pursue your passion.

Q Tsuki-Neko🌙😼 : i can relate with this one. nursing kasi nasa med field halos lahat ng family and aiming to be a doc kasi dad's a doc. pero in the end, i was just pleasing dad/people and not myself.

my take lang about this is...ask kids "what do you want to do/be?". uncle and i here talked about tjis sa car. and i think important din yung question, will you be happy with doing that for the rest of your life? kasi rn...it really takes a while to find saan ka masaya esp in this global econ or so...modern times.

my uncle said no one's asked him that and I'm sure, dad ko rin was never asked that or those questions.
