That how Ezra feels talking to Maul a lot of the time, too, Vyng. And a little bit talking to Tawlyn.

This is how a lot of people feel talking to Maul. He makes them very tired.

he does understand and accept Maul has his reasons for what he does, at least. even though he does not love the idea of bleeding crystals, and being near Maul's saberstaff can be emotionally draining for him

(he also knows not to anthropomorphize crystals, that there is nothing more patient and resilient than a rock. their concept of time is radically different from a person's.)

oof, this surprise red-eye flight is hecking me up. Not even halfway through and I already feel nauseated from being so exhausted. Might need to try catching a few Zzzs instead of tagging like I wanted, sob sob
