because Rook was better than him in every way (except being able to identify puns) and to find out that happened to them... why should Pratt even bother trying to hold it together. if Rook can't then Pratt sure as hell can't.
and Sharky's right, he just wants someone to beat him up and give him orders. but he's not gonna admit that. instead he's gonna yell and ruin his only friendship he's ever had and then go sit in his room and be catatonic for a week.

it'll be good eventually. they need to work thru some of their codependency issues and while they're making it shittier now (or well, Pratt is because he's totally misunderstanding the issue) they'll work it out.
like Sharky could tell him to fuck off cuz he's weak and a disappointment and Pratt would leave but if he texted him 3 days later needing literally anything, Pratt would be right there
pratt is live or die by an arbitrary code that no one actually knows the rules too because it's just based off saying 'no homo' after saying extremely gay things
his current plan is to change nothing and hope he magically gets better
