2. favorite thing about the character's appearance honestly probably the feather motif with his accessories. THEY ARE SO CUTE. i fuckin love a feather motif in outfits and sorey being so married to it and loving his feathers is adorable to me ;A; they're pretty and also i like to hc that he and mikleo found them
probably also because as far as i can remember it's kind of unusual for the tales of male protags to have any jewelry?? so sorey having something so striking and also so clearly sentimental is very cute <3
7: Something about the character that annoys you? i mean, about his character specifically??? really the only things are things that could be chalked up to poor or inconsistent writing
........maybe the fact that sorey doesn't really cry in canon? i feel like such a kind-hearted and emotional boy who is told OVER AND OVER to be true to his feelings would cry more
13: Favorite headcanon for your character? MAYBE THE ABOVE that he's actually a crybaby, but idk. i have a lot for him. that he religiously followed a bardic tale about a vampire adventurer and that he's DEEPLY into trashy romance novels
that he enjoys poetry but cannot fuckin write it to save his life. that he's ace or at least very close to ace, but HELLA romantic. mikleo-romantic, mostly, almost entirely
honestly a lot of the stuff i like about sorey is mostly canon, like how he's sassy to mikleo so much but barely to anybody else. and how he will hide like a wounded cat because he can't stand to trouble anybody else with his wounds/aches/whatever
1: Favorite thing about writing the character? i mean most ppl who know me know that i like to expound upon the darker/creepier stuff and delve into horror ESPECIALLY when the canon doesn't. honestly tho?? for sorey i REALLLLLY love to get more into the LORE of shepherd pacts and what it all means
i love the weird magical woo woo bullshittery of it all, i love the intimacy mind palace horseshit, i love the mystic powers and the domain and the "is he god or is he the vessel to gods??? WHO KNOWS"
i also get a deep sense of satisfaction over when he shows up at a place with a BIG FUCK U ENDGAME DOMAIN but it's so peaceful and pure and magic-sensitive characters are like "who the fuck is this jesus kid" and then he goes "omg a decoder ring" as he shakes it out of a box of cereal
i like playing around with the old soul idea too, because sorey really is so wonderfully kind but he's not often dumb or naive about it; it's an active choice he makes despite having a decent idea of (or having at least thought about) the situation
19: What’s a situation you’ve always wanted to RP with the character? i mean the thing i've most wanted to play with him is hellionization, which i got to do and it was. SO fun i guess probably him dying? but that would (i think???) kill his seraphim if we go with the canon understanding of the pacts. ngl tho how metal would that be

SOB I LOVED WRITING SOREY BEING SO PROUD OF THAT........i forgot how he would also hover around eizen on the ships like DO U WANT ME TO PRAY TO UR VESSEL...I CAN DO THAT FOR U
probably that they're all legit related to their dad this time around. like yeah lots of other times the turtles get human-y because they TOUCHED yoshi or a human or something before being mutated, but this time it was very deliberate and makes it seem a lot more like. blood related.
the reason why it's fun is because THEY REALLY DID GIVE THE BOYS TRAITS. like actual nature and not just nurture traits from their dad WHICH IS SO CUTE.
usually i'm like 'who the fuck cares about blood relations' and i'm all about that found family/adoptive family shit but it's not common in TMNT canon so i find it super cute
1: Favorite thing about writing the character? i mean its brother stuff for sure. i like being able to be a feral little freak with him sometimes and i like to shove my hands into the nonsensical pseudo-science and all that, but whenever i play a turtle the BEST thing is ALWAYS the brotherhood
they're close and they love each other and they're all best friends and they're stuck with each other, and that makes the relationships between them complicated and messy and sweet and beautiful. LOVE IT
would love to fuck him up a little (or a lot), would love him to fuck up someone else a little (or a LOT), would love to get to write him making a mystic satellite laser or something else equally batshit insane
