[scarvi] I have been coming across shiny Pokémon at a frankly astounding clip by which I mean I have seen four (and caught three)

Don't even have a charm or secret method for it

(The one I did not catch was a Voltorb )

Azurill, Murkrow, Frosslass

Would be exciting to see what one of the new ones looks in shiny

many of the new shinies are deeply disappointing sadly

It blew up which I should have been expecting...

I hear if you save in front of a shiny you can try again to catch it by turning the game off and back on (unless auto-save messes up where you save) if you encounter another shiny that might faint itself

Oh yeah that seems to track I just. Don't think of it and/or get into the thrill of uncertainty

The voltorbs come back after exploding though?

Unless it came back as a different one

Yeah I saw one explode while I was battling another pokemon and it just faded back into existence.
