Is it worth it? Converting to the sims? Financially I mean. These look great

Dutchie® : for me, it's a guaranteed payment from TSR since i'm a Featured Artist and they pay by set. is it worth the time it takes to convert? eh, maybe, maybe not, but it's a creative outlet for me. :-)

there are sims creators on Patreon who are making serious money...but like with anything it's all about finding the right market and the right volume of output.

Cake : i am still so lost on how all that works! i know you shared some sites a while back and i looked, but i'm lost. surely the assets must need to be in a different and specific format to use in VR, and i don't know what that is. i would love to expand to VR, too, to see how it goes. i gotta dig around some more, see if i can figure it out.

ellie bellie : It's just FBX files, or OBJ. That's it! You'll want to pack the textures with them, even better if you know how to set up a Unity prefab with materials and shaders so people can just pop the Unity prefab file into their project and go.

That's all it takes! You can sell your furniture on the Unity store even, if you want.

Cake : that's helpful, thank you! i've only dabbled briefly with unity, but that gives me a direction to follow. gotta do some learnin'.
