ngl here though, I find it so odd that the US doesn't have like prescriptions with a set number of refills (that can only be filled one at time)

or that you can't leave your thing with your local chemist and be told 'hey, time for a refill' via text message at the end of the month.

The first exists; the second depends on the pharmacy. The refills, however, can be a thing where if you don’t have one and the doctor is slow or something, it can take time your brain barely has for the update to come in.
