It's that time of year again when my hands get really cold, and I've noticed something puzzling: You can find half-fingered gloves easily, but they're almost always wrist-length and no longer (longest I've found have been half-forearm).
You can find fingerless gloves/wrist warmers that are basically an extra-long sleeve, sometimes with thumbholes/loops, all the way to opera length. Some are quite decorative instead of warmth-functional.
I have one pair that go up past my elbows. I can't wear them any more because of the skin condition on my hands, but I think they are in decent shape. I can check if you want, and if they are, send them to you?
Yeah, I’d love a good pair of fingerless gloves, or the kind where you can pull the fingertips on and off. I had a pair of those but they were a bit tight.
Okay, toss me a private message with your addy and I will try to get them out to you next time we can get to USPS. (Or maybe I can figure out prepaid labels and leave them next time I go to the clubhouse which will be sooner.)
I got those when I lived up north, they were useful for waiting at the bus stop but still wanting to use my phone, and as an under layer to my thicker gloves when shoveling.
Don't ask where my glove solution from last winter is, I think they're all in a box somewhere. [throws up hands]
