OMG! What a lovely evening! We danced almost every song! LOL I took a shower before getting dressed but now I need another one! LOL
It was really nice to just cut loose like that. My friend had an excellent time too. She’s ready to go with me again next year.

There was a dj and it’s called Klub Singletjes. There were crates and crates of old 45 records there and you got to pick some out and give them to the dj. He played almost all of my requests too! My friend chose some too and they played them as well. A good mix of Dutch and English songs too.

I am so glad you had a great time. It sounds wonderful. Makes me miss my clubbing days, back before I met Ken and got married.

Teeg : yes, same! Although I was quite wild in those days. LOL

The last time I was at this event was pre lockdown and I went with Yak. That part was a little sad. But one of the ladies that’s a board member for the volunteers group told me how happy she was to see me dancing and having fun. It was sweet of her. I almost would’ve gone to tears but the atmosphere with all the music helped to keep my spirits up.

Shout out to WhiskeyMonday for helping me choose an outfit. I’m home now but I can’t believe my makeup is still on! That like almost never happens! LOL

Look what happened to my pressed powder though. I has a sad. I’ll need to buy a new one. This was a gift from our friend in the movie makeup industry so it’s the good stuff! LOL I was still trying to use it. Plus I got new blush from MaryKay in the states but the shade is just a bit to pink for me. Oops!

tormentedcorpse : thanks for that tip! I might try that but first I’m going to check the prices on that powder. It’s over 10 years old too so maybe it’s time for a new one anyway. All of my makeup (besides lipstick and blush that I just bought) is very old. I was still using a Cover Girl blush that’s gotta be at least 15 years old if not more.

I clearly don’t wear makeup often. LOL Usually only a couple times per year but I must admit I’ve been wearing it almost twice as often since Yak is gone.
