a couple cans of higher fat coconut milk can also work, but it still imparts a hint coconut

I feel like the coco milk would be a closer texture match. maybe half of that and half yogurt would split the difference?

: I checked substitution recipes first. if you shock the yogurt and add it while it's too cold, it basically causes the protein to coordinate coagulate so you get little curds of yogurt, but if you temper it by letting the yogurt come to room temp first or slowly add sauce to the yogurt in a separate bowl for mixing it in, it doesn't do that
