So the theory goes like this: Ohtori Academy is stuck in an eternal timeloop that keeps replaying every time Akio fails to get Dios' power (see: the mingling of characters who are dead and alive such as Mikage, the existence/non-existence of various buildings)
see: she no longer has her glasses (left on his desk when she left), she seems to know Utena already (though Utena has forgotten in the timeloop reset), Akio is dead to begin with and this is why the academy is falling apart in the movie
